Sanjos Metropolitan School is a new venture launched by the Archdiocese of Tellicherry. One may doubt the need of yet another school at a time when the government is closing down schools. Our answer is that Sanjos Metropolitan School is not just another school in Tellicherry but a unique co-educational school providing educational and all other facilities for the integral development of the student.

The motto of the school is selected from the book of proverbs in the Bible "Fear of the Lord is the Beginning of Knowledge". Thus we acknowledge our dependence on God, the source of human wisdom and the strength behind all the striving for excellence. It is god's grace that helps us to bring out the best in each human being.
  
Our vision is essentially rooted in the ancient Indian culture that is noted for its tolerance and relentless search for wisdom. Sanjos Metropolitan School is secular in its outlook and believes that India in the third millennium needs committed citizens who can lead the nation to new heights.
